Condition of Equipment
The renter agrees to return the bicycle and any additional equipment in the same condition as received at the start of the rental period (normal cleaning excluded).
Proper Use and Responsibility
The renter agrees to use the bicycle responsibly and ensure its proper functioning. The renter is liable for any damage, partial or total breakage, loss, or theft of the bicycle or rented equipment.
Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the renter’s credit card according to prices established by official Spanish bicycle and component suppliers.
In case of partial damage or scratches to the frame, fork, or components, a fee of €75 will apply per damaged section or component.
Both parties will inspect the bicycle before the rental period begins.
Spare Inner Tube
Each bicycle is provided with one spare inner tube in the saddle bag.
If used, a replacement fee of €5 will be charged.
The saddle bag inner tube may not be substituted with one from another supplier. However, other inner tubes may be used for the wheels.
If the bicycle is returned without a spare inner tube in the saddle bag, a €10 fee will apply (€5 for the tube + €5 for maintenance).
Return Policy
The bicycle must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location.
A late fee of €100 per day will apply for delays.
Extensions are possible if requested at least 2 days in advance and subject to availability, at the rates published on our website.
Early returns are not eligible for refunds.
On the return date, bicycles must be returned no later than 6:00 p.m., regardless of store closing hours.
Health and Fitness
The renter confirms that they are in good health and physically able to use the bicycle.
Theft or Loss
The renter is responsible for taking all necessary precautions to avoid theft, loss, or damage. In case of theft or loss, the renter must pay the full replacement value of the item (bicycle, helmet, etc.). Bicycle insurance does not cover theft.
Liability
The renter acknowledges the risks involved in cycling and assumes full responsibility for any injury, accident, or damage caused to themselves, third parties, property, or objects during the rental period.
The rental company is not liable for accidents, injuries, damages, or loss of personal belongings occurring during the rental.
Use by Third Parties
The bicycle may only be used by the renter or an authorized person. The renter is fully responsible for any damage, loss, or malfunction caused by unauthorized use.
Adding, removing, or tampering with bicycle components is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Use
The bicycle may not be used in areas unsuitable for cycling.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be submitted to the courts of Manacor, Mallorca (Spain).
Optional Insurance
Bicycle insurance is available for €4 per day and may be purchased at the time of booking or upon collection.
The insurance covers any total or partial damage to the bicycle, subject to a €50 deductible.
Theft and loss are not covered.
If the renter has travel insurance, we will issue an invoice for claims; however, any deductible or damage charges must be paid directly in-store upon return of the bicycle.
Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 1 month before the rental start date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is made less than 1 month before the rental start date.
Required Documents
To collect the bicycle, renters must present a valid credit card (with full details: number and expiration date) and a valid ID or passport.
